Setagaya Kannon, Goddess of mercy

Setagaya Kannon statue is beautiful.

It is a one hour walk from my studio.

Today, on Saturday I have no work to do and fine fall day moved me to walk.

Painter tends to draw in a studio or outside as what they like to.

For me, my studio is the stage.

So we, Painter needs to excise their body to keep their health.

Healthy body owns a healthy mind.

One hour walk is very good for me.

Smile for Human beings with mercy and grace.

Here is a quiet place, a rounded by tree.

I almost forget that here is the middle of Tokyo, huge city.

She is at the center of the pond, with many colorful carps swimming around.

Elegant moment.

I always think of human’s life, the value of mind.

Stature shows me one of the answers.

Before you get into the holy place, you will see the Great gate.

That has two guards both side.

Two guards protect the holy place from evil things.

Evil human, evil spirits, all of the evil cannot enter.

Guard Ah and guard Un work very well with each other.

So in Japanese, we have “Ah-Un no Kokyuu”.

That means good to work well together.

When you get under the Gate, you can crap your hands.

The Dragon, a picture on a ceiling of the Gate will cry.

I think it is a permission to get into holy place.

I spend an hour to watch around and refreshed.
