Fly to Chubu Airport and move to Tsu city.

Chubu International Airpot

I think I never fly from Haneda(Tokyo) to Chubu(Nagoya) and goes to Tsu city.

So I took an air ticket.

Normally if you want to move to Nagoya, you ride on Shinkansen, super express railway, is the best choice.

Fast and steady, economic, easy.

Experience is precious.

Chubu International airport has high speed boat that goes to Tsu city, Mie prefecture.

So I planed to go to Tsu city.

I fly Haneda at eight in the morning and now I reached Chubu Airport at Nine.

The high speed boat will go at Ten.

I have to wait for a while.

They cost you 2980 yen per adult, one way ticket.

They opened the gate to get into the boat at 9:50.

Too short to get in.

I have no idea to let the customers get in the boat at 9:30.

This gives customers plenty of time to act.

I thought that since Japanese people would want to depart on time, it would make everything go more smoothly if we gave them more time to board.

We were blessed with good weather, the waves were not high, and we could sail smoothly over the sea.

It’s so smooth it could be called ninja-boat.

40 min trip on the sea.

Now I got to Tsu city.

The terminal called Nagasunamachi.

Blue sky made me high.

I hope I will have a good trip.

You can get on a bus goes to center of the Tsu city or take a taxi.

I do not recommend you to walk.

One block is quite far like New York city.

Here is the center of the business zone.

Wide road and high buildings.

But no people.

I look around and know there is no business activity here.

Old town, ghost town.

It is no good .

Lunch menu

Lunch menu

My choice was lunch course 3300 yen.

Potage soup, Hamburger steak with demi-glace sauce, Salmon cutlet and tartar sauce, Our specialty half-size black curry, coffee are included.

Soup of the day

Soup of the day

That was cream Potage soup.

Great taste, smooth and deep flavor.

Fried salmon

Fried salmon

Salmon cutlet and tartar sauce is crispy and the inside is fatty and juicy.

The tartar sauce is also traditional and homemade.

It’s a taste that makes you feel the history.

Hamburg steak with demi-glace sauce

Hamburg steak with demi-glace sauce

The hamburg steak is excellently done. It is rare inside.

The demi-glace sauce has a deep flavor, and is slightly sweet.

What impressed me was the side dishes.

Usually, they don’t put much effort into making them, but this restaurant is different.

The potatoes, carrots, eggplant, and rape blossoms are all perfectly cooked.

Specialty: Black Curry

Specialty: Black Curry

It’s a truly black curry.

It has a smooth texture, and you can’t tell how much vegetables and meat are in it.

It has a deep umami flavor.

However, since it’s all strained, all you can taste is the meat.

The spiciness is subdued.

Coffee

Coffee

It’s like a palate cleanser.

This is how Japanese people in the past enjoyed Western cuisine.

After a stroll around the area, we headed to the hotel.

Enjoy shabu-shabu at ”Gyushige”, a restaurant specializing in Matsusaka beef

One of the purposes of this trip is to eat Matsusaka beef.

Surprisingly, within walking distance of the hotel, there was a restaurant called Gyuushige that specializes in Matsusaka beef.

The parent company is Asahi-ya, a wholesaler of Matsusaka beef.

You must choose “Tokusan Matsuzaka beef Kiwami course”!!!

It cost 16500yen per person.

But this course is worth it.

The vegetables are also delicious.

The moment you put it in your mouth, the rich aroma and rich flavor spreads.

It melts away in an instant.

It’s surprisingly delicious.

I’m really glad I came to this restaurant.

Crème brûlée

Crème brûlée

It’s creme brulee. It’s not too sweet.

Green Tea Whisky

Green tea mixed with whiskey.

It was great to be able to walk back to the hotel.

I went to bed early to prepare for my trip tomorrow.

My dinner was high in calories, so if I went to bed right away I would turn to fat.
