Matsue Castle
I went to Matsue Castle.
Of course, before that we had strolled around the city of Matsue and bought some souvenirs, such as boiled clams from Lake Shinji.
It’s a compact and pretty city, but it’s deserted.
This is the result of the Japanese government’s continued austerity measures.
I don’t usually exercise much, so the stairs to the ticket booth were tough. Sorry if there is any noise.
It costs you 800 yen per adult person.

Matsue Castle

Matsue Castle’s steep stairs
The Japanese in the 16th century were small.
The castles specialized for battles had no wasted space.
The stairs were narrow and extremely steep.
I think it’s best for the old people and children to refrain from going there.

Although it was a bit cloudy, the view from the top was amazing.
Even though it was midsummer, a cool breeze blew through.
It was worth the effort to climb up here.

Dinner at Ronjin restaurant.
The restaurant exudes a Taisho-era romantic atmosphere.
The interior is a modern Taisho-era style that blends an old Swiss house with modern architecture.

The waitresses are black maids.

Beef cutlet
Tonight I had beef cutlets.
It comes with rice and salad as a set, which is very reasonable.

It’s so hot that I drink cranberry juice to protect my kidneys.

seasonings
Original salad dressing and other condiments are available, and you can call a waiter with an electronic bell.

Beautiful menu
Just looking at the menu, everything looks delicious.
Many European restaurants have menus that are just text, so I think Japan is much more customer-friendly.
It’s not a class society.

Beautiful menu
Yesterday I went to Izumo Taisha Shrine.
Today I went to Matsue Castle.
Anyway, it’s extremely hot, so please be careful of the temperature when traveling in Japan.
It’s also important to have travel insurance and medical insurance.
