Hakata Station

I traveled for a business meeting at Hakata, Kyusyu, South part of Japan.

It takes 90 mins flight from Haneda, Tokyo.

Still, we have Wuhan Viris, COVID-19, but in Japan, we might think it is almost done.

Per observation from February, in Japan, the people who are under the age of 65, and who do not have a medical history, are free from COVID-19.

Almost all people in Japan can live normally.

I do not know why the mass media shout of danger.

Heart-shaped Postbox

Christmas is getting closer.

Most Japanese have nothing to do with Christianity, but do love to share happiness.

Hakata has many big firms, like Tokyo.

It is the heart of the Kyusyu area.

I have an artistic meeting and business lunch with the agent.

Famous “Nakasu Zenzai“

I like to have afternoon tea in Nakasu, the west side of Hakata City.

I chose “Nakasu Zenzai“.

Zenzai is a sweet red bean soup with rice cake, Mochi.

It was so delicious.

I stayed back in my hotel and had a rest.

Night in Nakasu

I went to a famous restaurant in Nakasu.

It is called “Toriden“, famous for traditional “Mizudaki” in a modern atmosphere.

“Mizudaki” means boiled food, chicken, and vegetables in the hot water, and drink the soup.

You might add rice or noodle at the end.

I chose the course menu “TAKE”, it cost US$45, without beverages.

Both were good appetizers.

It was very fresh and melting well.

This is the main dish, Mizudaki nabe.

Nowadays, we do not boil with hot water but with chicken stock.

Many same category restaurants have their own recipes.
