Kansai International Airport KIX
Friend of mine invited me to come to Wakayama and try for “Koyasan” again.
It was so hot and fine day, even in November.
I hope no fuge earthquake in Japan.
It is easy to reach Wakayama by airplane and nearest one is “Kansai International Airport”, KIX.
You may take a car ride about 50 min to the center of Wakayama city.
Before that I went to the lighthouse.

Wakayama has a thriving fishing industry.
Lighthouse is the fundamental security system for fishermen.
This lighthouse is small, even tiny, but it lives in the night.
Lighthouses are placed higher than the surrounding area, such as on capes.

That means ocean view is beautiful in daytime.
Indeed.
Please be careful to come here.
The road is terribly narrow two car can not pass.

This is what I wanted to eat here in Wakayama.
Wakayama is famous for seafood especially Tuna.
Please look at the color of Tuna Donburi.
Akami (Normal meat) is like a Ruby, deep red.

Cyutoro (Meat with fat) melt in your mouth.
So delicious.
I recommend you to come to Dai kou tei, that is located in Market.
Everything is fresh and juicy.
I think this is a kind of Art.
“Kisyu Toshogu” Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu as a god

I remember Japanese history.
Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu placed his head quarter in Edo, now Tokyo.
Tokugawa clan governed two more places.
First one is “Mito”, northern part from Tokyo, and second one is “Kishu”, Wakayama, very far from Tokyo.

Here is Shougun Tokugawa Ieyasu’s shrine, also called “Tosyogu“.
Kishu, now wakayama, should have Tosyogu.
It is upon a high hill and has a long and steep stairs.
I can not believe elder people climb on.

It is bad for me not exercising a lot.

Usually you need to pay 300 yen to enter.
If you come with your car and put it in the parking you already pay 300 yen one person’s charge become free. If you came with 3 person, you have to pay 600 yen.
I do not know why they do this.

Main building was beautiful but a little small compared to other one.
It was worth to see when you look back.
