I visited Okayama

Okayama station

Came to Okayama, west side of Osaka.

Here is the stature of  The legendary Momotaro and his servants.

You may not familiar with the folk tale Momotarou.

That tells the story of Momotaro, who was born from a large peach that floated down a river.

An old woman got the large peach and tried to eat with old husband but a baby came out.

Fortunately they had no child so they were so happy to rise a little baby.

They gave the name Momotarou.

He grew up quickly as a strong man and decided to exterminate the demons that are destroying the village.

On his way, he met a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant, as his servants.

Finally he and his servants succeeded to terminate the demons and got the stolen treasure.

This folk tale has an original history.

That is a conquer of “Kibitsuhiko” , a legendary Japanese price.

He was the son of Emperor Kōrei.

Legend says this prince slayed an ogre called Ura, which may be the demonization of

the Kingdom of Kibi now parts of Okayama, destroyed during the reign of Emperor Korei.

I visited “Kibitsuhiko Jinja Shrine

You can ride on Momotarou line from Okayama station.

Tiny railway.

You can get off at “Bizen Ichinomiya” station.  It is a little station but you can use IC railway card to pay.

It is just a five minutes walk from the station to the shrine.

But please take care of the mad car driving on the narrow way.

For the sake of Kibitsuhiko, we can safely travel on Okayama.

I hope for the safe trip and prosperity of my clans.

You may learn how to pray at the shrine.

It is not a stiff necked thing.

This is an attitude of respect for religious freedom, and there is no problem in praying even if you are a Christian.

Our God is always generous.

I knew beside the Kibitsuhiko shrine, there is a shrine of “Ura”, orges, demons, the family that opposes the Emperor.

After the war even the enemy turn into a holy spirit.

Japanese admire the life of the enemy.

The truth is that it calmed down the enemy’s soul and avoided disasters such as hauntings.

But I like the way of Japanese.

Usually I do not walk, it is a bad thing, but today I walked a lot.

I’m tired.

Moved to Kurashiki to have a Korean BBQ

Yakiniku dinner

Yakiniku dinner

It takes 20 minutes ride from Okayama station to Kurashiki station by train.

You can walk to this Korean BBQ restaurant “Wagyu no Taka” 5 minutes walk.

The meat is fresh and selected wagyu beef.

Fatty and tender.

When you grilled by yourself, so good flavor and sizzling sound.

Please eat with rice.

You are almost in heaven.

It is worth to eat salad.

The soup is good and tender.

The kimuchi were good.

Thanks to God.

I was filled with energy.

Isaiah 40:28-31

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
