Nihondaira ropeway station

I wanted to visit “Kunozan Toshogu Shrine”.

It is easy to take a ropeway from Nihondaira to middle of the shrine, there is a station.

You can purchase round-trip ticket and entrance fee, maybe 500 yen, total 1750 yen, US$13.

Now NHK is broadcasting a drama, related to Tokugawa Ieyasu, famous shogun who made a long peaceful era in Japan.

Kunosan toshogu Shrine is also the grave of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Many people say he became as a god.

Every 10 minutes you can ride from both side.

It takes 6 minutes to reach.

You can see the sea and the valley, that scared me a lot.

I would like to visit a shrine in Japan because of its beauty.

I think it is a kind of artwork from ancient Japan.

See a lot of influence of China but Japanese culture rearrange the design.

Tokugawa Ieyasu is a short man in current, but his hand was big enough.

I am middlemen in Japan but his hand is as same as mine.

It was time to branch.

Many people are eating in main building.

We never imagine such a situation.

After COVID-19 many people started to travel, include us. It is a very good thing.

So I move to a new building, Garden court.

This is a famous Nippondaira hotel curry rice.

European type curry. Fond beau and beef, smooth curry.

This salad was tasty.

All the fresh vegetables are from the locals.

It is worth to try.

Now we got some rain and check the cloud movement.

It would be cloudy but not rainy, thanks to GOD.

“Mihono Matsubara”

It was a twenty minutes drive from the hotel to here, famous “Mihono Matsubara”.

There are historically saved pine trees.

Due to its natural environment, it is designated as one of New Three Views of Japan along with its three pine groves.

It is strange to see the pine tree is almost lying in a same direction, it is wind to do.

The hard wind from the sea makes pine trees bow.

It has an old pine tree dating back 650 years called Hagoromo no Matsu and is said to be where the angel wearing a Hagoromo floated down.

I thought it should called “Hagoromo”not “Haguruma” but I do not know why.

It was hard to walk here also.

On the sand you might not walk easily.

If it was not cloudy I would like to walk near the seashore and watch Mt.Fuji.

Maybe not. I could not watch Mt.Fuji because of the cloud.

It was high time for us to go back Tokyo.

Anyway it was so good to come to Shizuoka and watch the famous places.
